Flavors of Love

Flavors of Love was independently organized by Don Charity Foundation at Chakuwama Orphanage Centre in Dar es Salaam on 13 December 2025. The project brought 14 DCF members and volunteers together with the children for a shared lunch, informal conversations, encouragement and meaningful time. DCF also delivered the practical support prepared for the centre, including food, essential supplies, school materials, cleaning materials and gifts. Transport was included in the project spending. The approved target budget was TZS 550,000, while TZS 420,000 was received and spent. No additional Foundation top-up was used, and no formal partner organization was involved. The conversations and inspiration were informal rather than a structured training session. The Don’s Charity Outreach and Gala Dinner 2025

DCF independently organized and funded a two-part project. During the day, 12 members and four volunteers visited Malaika Kids Orphanage Centre for talks, games, gifts, shared time and delivery of food supplies, cleaning materials and school materials. TZS 350,000 supported the outreach. Afterward, members gathered separately in the evening for speeches, member recognition, project reflection, entertainment, networking and dinner. TZS 400,000 supported the evening program. The combined TZS 750,000 was recorded as Foundation general-fund support. No formal partner was involved and the number of children is not estimated.

Christmas Lunch na Watoto

DCF organized and financially managed this standalone Christmas meal and companionship project. Tabasamu na Wagonjwa

DCF independently organized this hospital outreach. Approximately 25–30 members and volunteers participated, ten people donated blood, and the team visited patients across most departments. Essentials included soap, sugar, water and milk powder. The project also included cleanliness, tree planting and the public launch of the Je Wanatabasamu Magazine. Verified spending was TZS 565,800: TZS 468,000 collected and TZS 97,800 from Foundation general funds, including a TZS 10,000 poster. Je Wanatabasamu

Je Wanatabasamu was a Don Charity Foundation learning and accountability project developed from an idea presented by Foundation member Stellah Haule. DCF funded the full TZS 70,000 implementation cost from its general funds and supported field engagement across seven orphanage centres in Dar es Salaam. The project was designed to move beyond assumptions about charitable support by listening directly to children and caregivers. Prepared questionnaires were completed, stories were gathered from both perspectives, and field activity and filming helped document what participants valued, what they lacked and what they wanted future charitable visits to understand. The resulting learning informed the Je Wanatabasamu Magazine, now available in hard-copy and digital formats. Stellah Haule is credited for presenting and leading the project idea. The public report does not estimate the number of children, caregivers or questionnaires because a consolidated count has not been retained.

Kiluvya Secondary School Mentorship and Support

Following a formal school invitation, DCF delivered mentorship and motivation and directly acquired and distributed books, pens, menstrual-health supplies and recognition gifts. Approximately ten high-performing students were recognized. The Foundation funded TZS 185,000 from general funds: TZS 35,000 for transport and TZS 150,000 for materials and gifts. The COO attended with another DCF member, who is not named publicly.
