Standing with patients and families through practical care. On 2023-08-26, Don Charity Foundation partnered with MC Chonya for “Back to the Society” at Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute. The visit focused on patients living with spina bifida and hydrocephalus-related conditions, offering essential items and human connection while recognizing the daily realities faced by patients and caregivers. The activity took place at Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute, Dar es Salaam and reflected our commitment to health and community support through respectful, practical engagement.

For us, this update is about more than recording an event. It captures the people, partnerships and choices that turn compassion into responsible action. We value approaches that listen, protect dignity and respond to the context in front of us rather than assuming that every community needs the same thing.

We are grateful to the participants, hosts, members and partner organizations who made the engagement possible. Their time and trust helped us continue learning how to serve with care.
